  2. This competition commences 13/8/2013 and closes on Friday 27/9/2013.
  3. Entry is open only to residents of Australia.
  4. Only one entry per person.
  5. To enter, entrants must provide a valid email address and complete a survey emailed to them.
  6. The first valid entry randomly drawn on at the end of the promotion will win an Apple Ipod Nano valued at $169 RRP.
  7. The winner will be notified by email by Friday 04/10/2013, and the prize will be delivered by post.
  8. The Cancer Council WA accept no responsibility and shall not be liable for any loss or damage, accident, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion.
  9. Employees and immediate family of the Cancer Council WA and Department of Health WA are ineligible to enter.
  10. Entry into this competition signifies acceptance of all conditions. The Promoters' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoters reserve the right to limit entry or amend rules if considered necessary without notice.

It's competition time at Telethon Juvenile Diabetes Family Centre!

Primary School Student Poster Competition

Kids - show us what you know about type 1 diabetes!

Year 3 to Year 7 poster competition

Here is what to do:

  1. Kids who have type 1 diabetes: Design a poster or piece of art (A3 size) that shows your friends at school what they can do to help you with your diabetes.
  2. Kids who do not have type 1 diabetes: Design a poster or piece of art (A3 size) that answers the question What is type 1 diabetes? For information on type 1 diabetes, click here.
  3. Send them in to us (instructions below). All entries are to be received no later than 5pm Monday 12 January 2015. Please remember to also include your contact name and details. Entries will not be returned.
  4. We'll pick 2 posters as the winners of our FANTASTIC prize!

Conditions of entry:

  • Artwork must be on A3 sized paper
  • Students must be aged 7 - 12 years
  • Student's name, year level and school must be clearly labelled on the back of their work (not on the front).
  • For records, publicity purposes and for display in a digital format, the Telethon Juvenile Diabetes Family Centre may reproduce all artworks submitted.
  • Winners are responsible for getting to Perth for the Wildcats game

Competition tips:

  • Include lots of colour and pictures
  • Try not to stick anything on your poster that might fall off or get squashed (like glitter or folded paper). Collage is OK.
